PianoJam - On Tour Operations
1. Minimum Stage Sizes
- Piano & Drums – 4 x 2m (8m2)
- Pianos & Drums – 6 x 4m (24m2)
- Piano, Drums & Sax – 4 x 2m (8m2)
- 2 Pianos, Drums & Sax – 6 x 4m (24m2)
- Pianos, Drums & Brass Section – 5 x 3m (15m2)
- 2 Pianos, Drums & Brass Section – 6 x 4m (24m2)
- Up to 800 people: 32A (or 2 x 16A)
- More than 800 people: 2 x 32A
- All power supplies must be IEC 6039 compliant
3. Access & Parking
- The loading area must not be more that 20m from the stage.
- A parking area for the PianoJam 7.5 tonne truck must be provided: note that the truck will not fit into an underground car park.
- The parking area for the PianoJam truck most not be more than 400m from the performance venue.
- The client is responsible for parking costs.
- Due to the weight of flightcases, the route from the loading area to the stage must be ‘flat’ unless otherwise agreed in writing or by email. This means in practice that there should be no stairs, steps or other hindrances greater than 10cm.
- The access doors must be at least 80cm wide and 2m high.
- Any lift must be at least 1.8m long and 1.2m wide, with a door opening of at least 80cm. The lift must have a loading capacity of 350kg.
- The venue must be available for at least 3 hours before the required performance times, unless otherwise agreed in writing or by email.
- The venue must be empty of guests during the set-up and soundcheck. Soundchecking may take place until the beginning of the performance.
4. Dressing Rooms
There should be a private, lockable dressing room for the artists and crew, with clean toilet facilities in the vicinity. If the toilet facilities are only available through the PianoJam dressing room, then no others should have access to them.
5. Promotional Materials
The client may only use the PianoJam name and logo for performance promotion. There may be no private or public reference to any other act in conjunction with a PianoJam performance. Contravention of this condition will lead to immediate cancellation of the performance as breach of contract.
6. Security
The client is fully responsible for security of PianoJam equipment and personnel during the term of the contract. The client is also fully responsible for the actions of guests and other personnel.
7. Failure to Comply
Failure to comply with these “Terms & Conditions” will render the client responsible for any costs incurred by PianoJam; these include parking costs, legal action by 3rd parties, extra personnel costs (roadies) etc.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- Unless otherwise agreed, payment for gigs must be made in advance by electronic transfer, to our bank account: 5473926 PianoJam te Houten. Failure to make payment prior to the contracted gig date will be considered a breach of contract.
- Where agreement to pay on invoice has been obtained, late payments will incur penalty fees of 10% per calendar month or part thereof.
- Artists booked through and by PianoJam for 3rd parties are subject to a re-booking clause, whereby any re-booking within a period of 12 months must be made through PianoJam and is subject to 15% commission in addition to the playing fee to the artist.
- Although PianoJam will attempt to find a suitable replacement, PianoJam is not responsible for 3rd party artist 'no-show', including 'no-show' through sickness, industrial dispute, equipment failure or any other factor beyond our reasonable control.
